Yet another wildly eclectic mix of adds to the playlist this week. On the American Idol alumni front we have selections from albums by George Huff, Taylor Hicks, Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken. There is also the single, "The Lie" by Nikki McKibbin and "My Religion" by Ryan Starr, both contestants from season one.
"The Guide" by Borne is a free download from iTunes, so I threw it in to see how you like it. Borne is a band from Australia that seems to be making a mark here and in Europe.
I heard "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley on the Grammy's and really liked it, so I added it as well as "Stupid Boy" by Keith Urban which is currently #4 on the Radio & Records Country chart.
Harry Chapin's "Cat's In The Cradle" is an old favorite and Eva Cassidy is an artist I only became aware of in the last couple of years and really enjoy her music. I added a little rock with selections by Franz Ferdinand and the Rolling Stones. I then filled out the mix with tracks by Barbra Streisand, Linda Eder and The Mavericks.
